My favorite forms of recreation include hiking, biking, swimming, camping, kayaking, wildlife viewing and Scuba Diving. Other favorite pastimes include horseback riding and snowboarding/skiing.
Attending camp in the summer was a favorite activity while growing up and I enjoyed the fellowship as much as the outdoor activities.
In October of 2008 I became certified to do "prescribed burns" and took part in my first burn on a ranch in West Texas with The Nature Conservancy. Prescribed burns are done to improve wildlife habitat and grasslands as well as to control invasive species.
